Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Travel Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support school districts nationwide. Depending on your assignment, you may work individually with students who have specific speech and language needs or provide general speech and language support across the student population. This role involves collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare providers to ensure effective communication support in a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Individual Therapy: Provide personalized speech and language therapy to students with specific needs, including assessments, goal-setting, and therapeutic interventions.
- General Support: Conduct speech and language screenings, provide consultations, and develop strategies to support students' communication skills across the school environment.
- Coordination: Serve as a key contact between families, school staff, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support for students.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports in line with state and district guidelines.
- Education: Educate students, parents, and school staff on speech and language development, as well as strategies to support communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing.
- Experience in school settings is highly preferred, but not required. Open to CFs!
- Familiarity with providing speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
